Ingredients

  • 3/4 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps butter
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • tomato
  • cheese

Instructions

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, butter, milk, and eggs. Fry hamburger together with onion, salt, and pepper.

Grease a pie pan. Pour hamburger mixture in, and then pour the biscuit batter over it.

Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

Top with tomato slices and cheese. Return to over to melt the cheese.

Serve with pickle slices and ketchup.

Instructions

Whisk together the milk and flour, and stir into the corn mixture. Cook stirring over medium heat until the mixture is thickened, and corn is cooked through.

  • 3/4 c crushed peppermint candy, or flaked coconut, or ground nuts

Beat cream cheese, and add powdered sugar gradually.

Melt chocolate and stir until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla to the cream cheese. Refrigerate one hour.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in peppermint, coconut, or nuts.

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 T cinnamon
  • 3 c flour

Beat together all the ingredients except the flour until smooth. Then add the flour. Fill greased muffin tins two-thirds full. Sprinkle the tops of the muffins with brown sugar.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
